If you are planning to do HDR I would add to that, to set your bracketing to 2 stops.
And for a tip for users, to maximize depth of field for still lifes, use a tripod. Under the FN menu under the top menu select 2s. Set your camera to AV. Use the wheel beside the viewfinder to select the highest possible F-stop (smallest possible aperture) for the lens you have.
When you press the button and remove your hand from the camera, the mirror will lock up, two seconds will pass giving possible vibration from the mirror and your hand time to stop. The shuter will click and you'll here the mirror come back down. This will give you the absolute widest depth of field and clearest picture possible with the camera and whatever lens you have available.
