Sigma 20-40 2.8

Hmm i tried using the search function but couldnt find anything related, excuse me if this has been posted elswhere. Im a big fan of the 20 range FL and only just came across this lens. Any user opinions out there on this constant aperture? Ive seen some really good pics but on a Nikon system. Have yet to see a Pentax gallery anywhere but i see Sigma make it in the K mount too.

Well, they're gonna be the same results you get on a K10D. The 20-40 is a pretty pointless lens for digital - you're only getting a 30-60 f2.8. Better off with a Sigma 17-50 f2.8.

Thanks man, i already have the 16-45 for digital...i was interested in this one because its a FF lens that has less distortion than my 20 f4 (basically same as 21 distortions) not to mention good for low light. The only other lens i know of super wide FF is the Sigma 12 - 24 but it looks out of my price range. Will do some more looking around...
