I just ran into a seller that claims he has a HSM version of Sigma 10-20 for Pentax. It is brand new, as Sigma lounched the HSM for Pentax three weeks ago in Europe....
Could this be the truth?

If you mean the title saying HSM, then no it doesn't mean anything. A year ago when I bought my K10D even adorama and B&H had the 'HSM' description for even the Pentax mount. Even sigma's own title had the term 'HSM' for the Pentax mount, it just didn't have one...strange, eh!
I wonder how many bought it thinking it and the other lenses had HSM, not everyone visits forums to learn otherwise ????????
Asked the seller specific about this issue, and he him doesn't know it isn't a HSM. He claims that it is a HSM version.
But ironically, he thought, I was looking for a HSM version. As you can see, I can not use it. :-)
I recently exchanged some e-mails with Sigma, including specifically asking if 10-20 HSM provides HSM focus on Pentax mount. Their reply was that only plans currently for providing HSM on Pentax was for 70-200 and 50-150. I wasn't asking about primes, so that may not include them.
