Well, I have two M lenses that seem under-represented on this thread so far, so here goes:

(K100D. No aperture information because I never remember... basically I set the lens to f5.6, f8 or f11, and then flick between Av mode for wide open, and M mode for smaller aperture, using the optical preview lever to see the metering in M mode) Images taken RAW, processed in bibble, which includes a bit of noiseninja.

I should say thatwithout my Katzeye focusing screen and O-ME53 eyepiece magnifier, these would be even less in focus than they are now...

M 75-150mm f4
It is a bit of a pain to tell the SR what focal length, but I tend to use it at or near the extremes anyway, a quick off-on of the camera to reset it.

M 50mm 1.4

Augustmoon,

I'd forgotten how sharp that M 50mm 1.4 was. You've inspired me to take it off the shelf and put it back in the bag. It's too good to be collecting dust.

Cheers,

Tom G

M 28mm f/2.8

.

Here's one from the M 28 f/2.8 I ran across - taken a few weeks ago.

I really like the colors/contrast/sharpness, especially in the shirt pattern.

I remember he was chanting/humming/"talking" to himself like he does sometimes....

Nice job Jay! You really started something with this thread. With over 11,000 views and counting I would say a lot of others are discovering what we knew all along – Pentax M series are great lenses. Your M 100mm shots make me regret more than ever letting my M 100 go.

Cheers,

Tom G
