I find the M135/3.5 to be right on the edge. I'd like it faster too - any slower and I wouldn't be able to use it very often for concert photography - but I still prefer it to the 135/2.8's I've seen or used simply on account of how small and light it is. It's *just* fast enough, I find, to be useful at ISO 1600 or 3200 in typical clubs. And as you say, larger apertures t come at a cost in DOF as well.

The M 120mm F2.8 is not that big according to the specifications, but unfortunately it's quite rare.

Indeed. I watched as a couple sold this summer for under $200 when I didn't have the money available, but I never see one at a time when I might reasonably be able to pull the trigger. Not a very high priority, though, and after blowing the rest of the year's lens budget (not that I really had a specific figure in mind) on my DA15 and a DA40 for my wife a couple of weeks ago, I just can't see myself coming up with an excuse to buy the M120 when I already have the M100 and M135.

Hmm....selling the M 100 and M 135mm will not cover all the expenses for a 120mm...but it's pretty close if the lenses are in good condition. I guess the DA 70 + M 120 would be a great concert combo.
Just picked up my second M series lens today - 400 F5.6 - and I'm loving it!
Great IQ - but somewhat to my surprise, the stop down metering with K200D really seems quite accurate. Not perfect, but really quite good. PF is much less severe than I imagined too, not big deal at all. I'm happy
Not fantastic pics yet, but I had fun none the less...
