Posts: 70 | Sigma 10-20mm stiff zoom? So I finally got my Sigma 10-20mm in my hot little hands, but I've noticed that the zoom ring is quite a lot stiffer than my other lenses (though the only ring-zoom lens I have is the kit lens). It zooms smoothly, I don't hear any grinding or anything, and the tension is even throughout the zoom range... it's just very stiff. Is this just how the lens is, or should I start looking at my warranty?  |

Posts: 4,860 | mine is pretty stiff but then again its mostly stuck at 10mm anyway  .but yeah i wouldnt worry about it. |

Posts: 70 | Whew! Thanks for the responses guys. Almost everything about this lens feels much different from my others; the rubberized coating, the big, big front element. I'm actually going to need a new bag because of this lens! |
