Nice! Almost a 3-D effect there.

Squier where are the pics from that Pentacon elephant gun. Surely you've sorted the adapter by now.

yeah, i got an adapter, but the beast is too heavy for my tripod !

I'll have to either splash out on another head, just for this lens, or sell the Blunderbuss. Money is not plentiful at the moment and buying another head merely to mount this Pent is rather extravagant. Looks like i'll be moving the lens on

I won't make an offer as the shipping here would be prohibitive to say the least. Or perhaps build up those muscles in the arm and use the sod hand held? You know you'll be kicking yourself if you sell it before at least popping off a few pics with the beast.

I've got a Tak 500mm f4.5 coming and I may adapt a telescope tripod for an old meade scope. I was going to sell the tripod but I my big old Manfrotto won't handle it. Every one says the Tak 500mm sux some I'm looking forward to proving them wrong.

I've got a Manfrotto too - maybe a head off a telescope set up is the way to go. I wouldnt know where to start though, so if you sort yours out that way, post your build shots

Industar-61 duct-taped to my M42-EOS adapter, mounted on my Canon 40D. Most were shot around f/4, I think, but some I needed to go wide-open.

First time being able to shoot the really tiny stuff like this. Lots of fun!
