Takumar club

Add to the M, K and Off Brand clubs: your Takumars! What works in setup, what doesn't work, and lots of lovely results!

To get started, here are some with a Super-Tak 50/1.4 plus 24mm extension tube, hand held at either 1/6th or 1/20th I took last night just for fun.

Those wide angle Takumars are excellent, I feel the need for some myself (I max out at 35mm). And I'm still kicking myself for not buying the 135/3.5 when the local store had one. Good photos, folks!

All of these are from my fathers Super Multi Coated Takumar 50 mm f 1.4 My first try with the adapter on my K10D, What I like about these lenses is the rich color, wow....

Stratman, that first shot: wow-ee, hot diggity!!!

Yes, the tone and color concentration is something they got Right with the Taks.
