I just recd this lens today ( bought on eBay ) And there is some sort of liquid on the inside of the front element, and LOTS of it. I only paid 10 bucks, so it really isn't worth sending back. I was wondering how difficult it is to get the front element out of the barrel. I believe this is mechanically identical the the Pentax A 70-210. I have no idea what the liquid is, but I would guess it is some kind of oil. If i can get the element out of there fairly easily, I would imagine I could clean it up, and it would be a decent cheap zoom. I did take some test shots with it, and the images look a little soft, but that could be my poor manual focusing skills
Here is a quick test shot I took with it mounted on my K110D...
