How bad can autofocus be for Tamron on Pentax mount?
Showed very high and consistant resolution with a noteable advantage over the Sigma, the samples even wide open look great. Bokeh looks smooth and great close focus for such a lens. CA and distortion almost nothing, very mild vignetting wide open.
Will this lens be able to use a silent motor for Pentax? According to the Tamron page, the Nikon mount has a motor, but it doesn't mention for anything else (including Canon)
AF70-200mm F/2.8 Di LD (IF) Macro; Tamron USA, Inc.
Admittedly, the apparent inclusion of the USM for Pentax in the Sigma is of considerable sway. BH has the Sigma listed for 799 and the Tamron for 699. Really low prices considering the performance of both lenses as well.
