I got mine at Wolfe's, but it looks like they've gone up on the price since I bought mine. It's $99 now. Hmmm...

This pro master thing is pretty good. I too bought mine from wolfes for $78.00 shipped on ebay.

Yes, I like my promaster 1.7x AF TC. My friend Gus has some soft focusing issues with the promaster. But other than one negative response, all users seem to be positive with the TC. I was probably the initial people who brought the attention of the TC along with few other discussions in dpreview.com

My blog posts:

AF in Promaster 1.7x TC is noticeably slower than that with Tamron 1.4x TC. The slowness is more pronounced in K100D than K10D.
