Glass: long and heavy.......

.......if you like it that way look at this. Including hood, about 2 ft. and 8 lbs. In the original box, etc. Mint, I'd say, including case though the box has split corners. Pentax mount, tripod mount is massive; 600mm f8. The brochure says Lenco, Inc., out of Chicago and lists a couple of dozen lenses, pre-set and 'automatic', prime and zoom, including an 800mm f8! Anyone know anything about this outfit or the IQ of their products? Haven't tried this one yet, but will this weekend......worst case is scrap value should be about what I paid for it.

I had a Tele-Lentar 450mm lens that was pretty good when stopped down. It was a T-mount that required an adapter to use it on a K-mount body. There's a good chance it was made by Spiratone.

Thanks; when I googled 'Lentar' your forum post came up..........I hope my pix are as good as yours........the original owner said he bought it around '68.......at a Navy PX........
