LOL I am not sure if I want to be associated with a dirty lens <g>. But going back to your first post... I've just bought a Yashica TL Electro-X ITS for the Takumars that were being sold with it. I really do not want to be tempted to go back to film (the cost, mainly). Your first post looks like an Electro, so what do you think of the one I've just bought?

So how did you get that effect - with the OOF to the left and right of the centre, yet it seems to be in the same plane as the centre? Did you use a Lens Baby?

Richard

Oooh a Zuiko, mounted... on Not The Original Camera... I was just thinking, soft core lens shots are OK and all; I really like to see them mounted

Richard, I have the Electro-X, that's what you're seeing... I wrote it up here:
Three screw mount cameras compared

It is an excellent camera... Maxwell bought two after I wrote that little comparison Congratulations, they are tanks, all you need is to pop the right battery in and you've got yourself a super film camera. You know, for the times you want the full experience...

On that Retina shot, I don't recall doing anything apart from using the 26mm extension tube. I think the DOF was extremely shallow and I was coming at it from an angle, so only the top bit rose to the plane of focus.

AutoChinon 50mm f/1.4 (K mount lens) IMO, a better construction than the M SMC Pentax and a good IQ !

OK this is a little wierd but I'm coming out of the closet and I'll admit I've taken a few lens shots. Mind you they were just taken in case I want to sell them at some point. I'm currently in a multi-step program in search of a cure but the outlook is grim. All shots K10 with SMC Pentax 50mm f4 macro.

SMC Pentax M 50mm 1.1.4

SMC Pentax K 24mm f 2.4

SMC Pentax K 200mm f 2.5
