Latest LBA acquisition: Super-Tak 28mm/3.5. (Loving it so far. Sharper contrasts but also harsher bokeh than the A28/2.8.) I noticed something that I think might make it special. The engraving on the lens has a misprint. This isn't as special as, say, a country misspelling its own name on its stamps, but I found it curious and I'm wondering who else has mistakes that make their lenses ... unique.
Okay, mine isn't great, but they drilled three holes instead of two for the colon in "1:3.5/28mm". Here are two pictures: one of the lens and a 100% crop of the misprint.
(Picture taken with an A35-70/4 @70mm/4, 1/125s, ISO 400.)
Edit: Just noticed that the "3" in 3.5 isn't quite aligned, and neither is the "8" in 28mm.
Anyone?
