Old LBA attacks long

i'm not likely to ever afford a long Pentax DA
so i jumped at this lens for $45...
found a thread that mentioned it, saw some very sharp pics using the 2xTC with it...
saw a few flickr shots
even perused the original pamphlet
should be a nice show pair with my Tamron SP90 2.5
will post a picture in due course
Pete

That is actually a very good lens. I had one for several years. I sold it a few years ago when I replaced it with an F*300/4.5.
Enjoy it.

Nothing wrong with older glass. If you like the lens and want to keep it for a long time, you might want to take it in and have the fungus cleaned. Probably cost about $60-100.

Congrats on a good deal.

I had one or a short time and thought it to be a good lens. Close focus is awesome and its really light.

There's a couple of cleaners in Welly - one in petone (who I have recently used) and another in Tawa. If you want more info - yodel.

I have a non-SP version, and that seems decent. I bet yours will be very, very good.
