Well, I guess if you can afford it, you can probably also hire some 2-3 people to carry it around for you.
What I really want to see is the tripod for that sucker!

Wow!

I bet it will come with a Pentax mount. One thing I always liked about Sigma lenses, is that they have never been prejudiced against the Pentax mount - unlike others (Tamron).

But HogRider! you'd have to get a side car just to carry that beast around!

Tripod? You're going to need a whole truck with a post mounting in the bed... Now, who's LBA is going to be able to afford that SigMegaMonster?

I've got a beer for the first person to handhold that lens and take a sharp shot.

I feel so insignificant.

LOL - You've gotta have arms the size of Arnold's to pull of a handhold shot with that monster. Even then you'd shoot at ISO 1600 and have the SR on. I'll second that beer (A pitcher of Molson's or Labatt - your choice) to make it two!

I know someone who may be testing one...

A local pro was contacted about whether or not he was interested...

Of course, he would be happy to test for image quality before dropping approx. $10,000 US on it (price has not been set, that's a guess on his part)...

Unfortunately he shoots with Canon, but that won't stop me from checking that behemoth out...

Cheers,
Marc
