Beware of the Ricoh appeture pin!

I just received my like new Vivitar MF 28-210mm zoom. It is labeled PK-A/R and it had the dreaded Ricoh appeture sense pin in the mount. If I had slapped it on my camera, I would have been upset for sure. It took about two minutes to bemove the pin and all was well. It isn't just Ricoh branded lenses that have this trap set. It is a very nice lens for $9.00, including case,caps and a Tiffen 72mm haze-1 filter. One of my better feabay bargins. The only thing that I don't like is close focusing at about 1.5m. Here are a couple shots at the house,wide and long. Not bad for $9.
