Sigma 28-70mm 2.8-5.6

Anybody out there using this lens? What are you likes and dislikes with it? How fast is the focus on it? Also image qaulity? I'd like to get the 28-70mm f/2.8, but don't really want to pay that price at the momen. Might just hold off and be patient and wait for the f/2.8.

haha that looks like the Sigma DC 18-50 lens.. (*shudders*)

I wouldn't get it if I were you. You've got good coverage with that 28-80 already not to mention you have the 28, 50, 18-55.

Forgot to add Zenitar 16mm and my 35mm to the list..

The 28-80 I have now is a manual lens. I was looking into getting a AF lens in that range. But maybe I'll just look into the 70-300 APO or 28-200/300 for all my all purpose lens.
