Polarizer for DA12-24

I need to get a Circular Polarizer for my DA12-24 with the ability to attach a Cokin-P Filter holder.

My last CPL was a B+W MRC 72mm for my Sigma 17-70 purchased from HVStar.net, a positive experience.

I'm leaning this way again but thought I would throw it out there and get a couple of other opinions.

I initially thought I should get a B+W Slim but they don't have front threads, which means no Cokin-P filter holder. I like my Grad ND's and don't really want to hand-hold them.

So the other choice is a normal B+W 77mm, but I'm concerned with Vignetting.

What are your experiences with a DA12-24 and polarizer?

I use a UV filter, not a polarizer - no problems with it.

Polarizers and extreme wide angles aren't always a good mix because polarization depends on angle of reflection, and at 12mm the lens takes in such a large angle that you'll see varying amounts of polarizer effect across the frame.

I'd also be a bit worried that if you stack something in front of the polarizer you might end up with some vignetting at 12mm.

Good question - I'm interested too as my 12-24's on the way.
As far as I know (no experience yet), slim filters are be recommended for shooting at 12mm to prevent vignetting, but I'll be trying it with a non-slim 77mm filter to see if this actually occurs.

I am also interested in any thoughts on putting polarizer on the DA 12-24mm. Like others, I only use the thin B+W MRC 77mm UV filter and find no problem with vignetting at 12mm.
