What is this?

Pentax Spotmatic Compatible 2.8/50 lens - Nanaimo Cameras For Sale - Kijiji Nanaimo

A Praktica 50/2.8? Seeing as though it's only $15 I'm pretty tempted to pick it up, but is there anything I can do with it that I can't do with my 55/1.8? Does anyone have one? Does it possess any "special" bokeh capability?

Buy it...

If you dont want it... I am sure I would take it off your hands...

All these lense have a different look... for 15 bucks it is worth a look in my opinion...

But I sit here with 9 or 10 50mm lenses...

Hi Drew,

that's a Meyer Görlitz Domiplan three element lens,
Meyer Domiplan 2.8/50
Meyer Domiplan 50mm f/2.8-16.0 FM=75cm EL=3 (Normal) 1962 #58 - M42
Translated version of http://www.bigeye.url.tw/big5/d_mog50_28.htm

The 'Pentax' mount is just M42, no k-mount here.

I have never seen one that did not have a stuck aperture, ask the seller if he can get it closed. It does not have an A-M switch. You'd have to open it up anyway for the stuck aperture :-) The Takumar will smoke it anytime.

Highly recommended - not.
