Pentax DA* 200 macro f/4?

What's the chances of this lens beoing announced? The A* and FA* versions are very hard to find, do you think pentax will relaunch this lens for Digital SLRs?

This is not likely to happen at all. Only a day dreaming kind of thing.

Imagine the pricing of this macro much much higher than any of the recently released limited lenses.

Money is no object (I can't afford the A* version, either ;~)

I tried to get one nearly 10 years ago. Couldn't get my hands on one then either.

I'd rather have it ~150mm to keep the weight down, but definitely weather-sealed. 100mm is too short for me, and the Sigma 180mm, while excellent, is quite heavy.

I think a reincarnation of the FA* 200/4 Macro after the FA*200/2.8 -> DA* 200/2.8 pattern (new mechanics, small optical updates, new coatings) would be most beneficial for the Pentax brand. And I bet they could sell a lot more than the 1000 some of the FA* were ever made.
