I love the Kiron 80-200mm/f4.5 Macro!

Not bad for a lens that is full manual and around 48-years old! Taken with a Pentax K10D. I LOVE the bokeh on this photo! I call it "The Passenger" and it was taken hand held, absolutely UN-EDITED except for resizing for the Web.

kiron 80-200

on a whim, i just picked up an 80-200 f4 with zoom lock. its on its way, and in the meantime, do you have any more pics with this lens? like the shot and bokeh is great. plan on using with a k 10d also. mike

What brand did you purchase? I recently bought a 70-200mm CPC Phase2 f4 Macro and it arrived a few days ago. It's a fun lens to mess with and has a nice look in some instances.Nice for flowers and such.
A recent shot from the yard.

Haha I have the exact same one! Awesome lens. Its a rebranded SMC-A70-210/4. Very sharp for a zoom and the bokeh is very nice. the build it lens hood is also great.

I got it on ekkbay for 30 dollars a week ago. The pictures of it looked so nice and new looking and the info on it caught my interest so I jumped. Glad I did now as it is a nice lens and even feels good if you know what I mean.
Right after that I had a chance for a series 1 vivitar 105 macro 2.5 new/old stock and jumped on it also . It is supposed to be here on monday.
My wife is very understanding thank goodness:0)

I had the 80-200 the first year they were out, it got stolen. I just got another this year on ebay and it proves to be one of the best manual lens I have. Love the contrast and color.
