nikon to pentax adapter

Just wondering about this:

Nikon lens to Pentax K10d k20d k100d k200d DS adapter - (eBay.ca item 110315755981 end time 19-Jun-09 19:45:02 EDT)

The only good price tele/lenses at my camera store (Henerys) are nikons. Pentax are hard to find at a good price. If it works this could save me lots of $.

Couple things... It's got a glass "correction" element which is bad and will cause IQ degradation. Second, it's not AF and doesn't even have electrical contacts. Looks like junk to me.

Its really designed for the pre-AI series, (or even AI series) of Nikon lenses.....thus, completely manual via stop down metering.

That said, I've never used one, but have experimented using pre-ai lenses. I suppose if I had a closet full of nikon lenses (pre-ai), I'd try it....

naturally, your mileage may vary.
