But if I never ever see any pictures taken with those 50s, how can I presume they all are that different? Just because someone says so? What if the person is just a collector who has all those lenses just because he can afford it?
When I see some photos, I believe.
And to the person who was naming some car-models... I guess those cars are fancy ones, but again, I would love to drive those things, not just have them in my garage and talk about my cars in some internet forum.

Ask and you shall receive:
Not identical setups but the same subject at the same aperture. Two different lenses.
There are qualitative differences to my eye, but maybe that is just wishful thinking.

So what . . . all but the FA 50mm f1.4 that I have are 18 to 50 years old and didn't necessarily cost me a fortune.
I guess you missed the part where they are matched to certain camera bodies. There are literally hundreds of pics posted from the various 50mm lenses on this forum. A little searching will turn things like this up. For example here is one post from hrishi in the Tak club thread from a Super Tak 50mm f4:
. . .

These I took at a car show about a year ago with FA 50mm f1.4.
There is a Cobra and 2 Deuce Coups in this photo
Deuce . . .
I couldn't find the '58 Vette so a Corvair will have to do.

Well, I (as well quite a few other members) wrote "one for each body" earlier, so I guess it was you who actually missed some part.
Also, I don't really consider that Super-Tak 50mm f4 be a real 50mm as it is a macro. And pictures taken at f16 with a (fill)flash tell nothing about the special charasteristics of the lens.
Anyway, thanks for posting the photos. It makes more sense to discuss about lenses/cars/stamps when you have a chance to see some evidence.

Actually, on the macro shots that I took about with the macro-tak, neither had fill flash. They were also hand held. That includes the film and the K200d. Apparently, you are just being a Troll menace and I'm through with this thread. If you don't like 50mm primes then move on to something else. I also stated that I had my ~ 8 50mm lens matched to bodies in an earlier post as well.
Edit: The macro-Tak is the only 50mm macro that I currently have for Pentax. As far as you whining about hrishi using a flash for macro shots at F16, that had more to do with a working distance of 6 inches or less.

there are many people who have various 50mm and others that already did look and from experience KNOW that different lenses render quite differently, color, bokeh, sharpness..
Looking and comparing you have to do yourself, nobody can do that for you.
K50/1.2
K50/1.4
K50/4 Macro
K55/1.8
Aah, someone with great taste in lenses! I like every original K I have ever held. My list is similar to yours but I don't have the macro... and the 1.2 is on it's jolly way home to me
Recently sold two M 50 2.0 lenses that I didn't use nor like that much. Still in the cabinet is a Super Takumar 55mm 1.8 and a Auto Takumar 55mm 2.2... that should be it.
