DA 35mm f/2.8 Macro Limited Examples

I like this lens a lot. My images have been crisp with good color rendition.

For me it's one of those lenses that keeps impressing me. I prefer zooms for convenience, but every time I dig this little bugger out of the bag I am never disappointed by what I see when I get back to the digital darkroom. It's beautifully sharp, and with the Pentax SR it's just so nice to get sharp photos like that hand held even if you are not the steadiest shooter. The bokeh isn't bad either (to my eye). And it's nice when you can focus so closely. This shot shows that for some portraits, the lens is probably too sharp. With young kids, it's not wrinkles we worry about- it's the dreaded unclean mouth or nose! Eeeek!

A nice, colorful series - great job. I enjoy using my DA 35, as well.
