How's this for backward compatibility?

Have a gander:

A little side benefit of my negative-'scanning' setup with a slide copier and bellows is that it can also do this:





It's my long-hoarded 1936 15cm Tessar lens/shutter, on an M42 Auto bellows courtesy of an M42-M39 adapter bushing and a K-mount adapter.

Yes, it works! Photos taken with to follow, when I next plug the card in. (Couldn't wait to try this any longer while I had stuff in the oven. )

Heehee. I only got in a couple of shots among a busy day (And those, wide open and at high ISO in my haste) And handheld at that. (It's not quite so ungainly as it looks that way, but it's definitely a handful. )

Looks really promising, though.

Hey, does anyone know if these lenses use the Kodak series filters/hoods or something of different measure?
