"Dust under rear element" - from a CG seller

Been working with a local CG seller all week to schedule a meet up time to pick up a used FA 50mm. The night before we meet, he writes:

While cleaning the lens, I found quite a bit of dust under the rear element, although it doesn't affect the image quality.
on a lens he says was purchased in December 2008.

My instinct says to run, not walk, away from this deal...

Thoughts?

I would do the same (run away), there are lots of FA 50mm out there to choose from.

At least you could look at this yourself.
Little dust in 50mm lenses is pretty common.
If you really see only few dust particles just use this to lower the price :-)

Dust happens.
It's nothing to get your shorts knotted up over.
