I saw this posted over at Steve's, and no its not my lens - but since I have never seen one of these become available, I thought that it might be interesting....

There was one review of this lens which said that it can take down a moose from about a mile away. :ugh:


But I wonder how many of these are around. Cannot be thousands. Less than 100??

I'd love to unsheathe this beast at the fall hawk migration and send those Nikon and Canon shooters scurrying with their pissant little 500mm toys.

Look at the size of the camera.....now that is a lens Any idea of the target market for it?
