some help with this one...

i really want to like this and just can't seem to get it right.

to set the stage.... this if one of my favorite building in town, a bank built in 1827, now used by Actors Theatre. the sun i high and behind the building to the left. the light on the building is reflected by a glass front building directly in front of it. i have done some cropping to take out a flare in the upper left and a little of the dark street in the foreground, as well as adjust the brightness and contrast.

any thoughts?

hmm, needs to be straightened, the fire hydrant is fairly distracting and the fedex truck and car defineatly has to go. the building itself is beautiful and i can see why you want to capture it.the shading on the building also looks good in my oppinion.
my suggestion would be to go up alot closer and take a shot looking up, so you can eliminate all the distractions such as people, cars, fire hydrants etc..

regards,
kev
