I personally like the second image better, it seem to have more POP. On the other hand, if your goal was to be able to identify every part of the subject, then the first is definitely better.

the 1st one looks like a flash-tense point and shoot snapshot.

Well, with PSCS3 I'd take the camera behind door #1 and the background from door #2. I like the clarity and detail of the camera in #1 and the richness of the background from #2. Also depends on if it's a product shot. If so, then I'd stick with #2 (with or w/o the PP'ing).

2nd for sure, more dramatic, makes the camera looks more... well, just more 3D.
Looks like the KM is in excellent shape.
