Things I like:

• close crop
• fine hair/eyelash detail
• the composition's balance: white shirt-face-hair

Things I don't like:
• yellow cast to the white balance (I can see this being hard to correct)
• her shoulder blown out (burnt highlights can be OK, but here it takes the eye away from the face, and makes the facial details -- the real subject of the picture -- feel darker and flatter)
• DOF -- would have liked to see the earring in focus too

I think the picture would be more effective if it showed more of her forehead and less of her shoulder, which is agree looks blown out and falsely colored. Good job though! The coloring is beautiful.

I like the colors, looks like early morning or evening sun. I wouldn't change the white balance. However, I do agree with sweet bay, some of the sholder should go.
