Watch Macro (not the same as posted in the "Post your photos forum")

I had posted a high'ish ISO random shot of my watch the other day, mostly to say how happy I was with the noise control so far of the K20D. So that got me to trying some more planned shots of my watch and this is what I came up with.

I used the K20 and Sigma 17-70 on a table top tripod with a Sigma EF-500 DG ST flash and just some plane printer paper to diffuse and bounce the light (poor mans light box I guess you could say). After trying a bunch of different things I decided that liked the look of the photos that went from black to washed out with the watch face in the middle. I was kind of going for a look that you may see for an Ad in a magazine.

So here it is, let me know what you think. The next thing I think I'm going to try with this is somehow add some water to make it look like the watch just came off someone that went diving.. just haven't thought about how I'm going to do it yet.

Pentax K20D ,Sigma 17-70mm f/2.8-4.5 DC Macro
1/90s f/8.0 at 70.0mm iso200

Stop down the aperture just a bit to increase the DOF a bit so the entire watch is in focus. (Notice the 6 is blurred.)

Add drops of water strategically to not cover any numerals or letters on the face.
