Flowers - my first time

This is my first post for critique.. I took these pics around my garden.

#3: I don't know what this is

To be honest, I can't find anything to critique...they all look fantastic to me. Awesome colors, and sharp as a tack.

The first picture seem to have some kind of tiny halo on the top leafs? Might be JPEG conversion. Or perhaps some sharpening issue? Thats the only thing I can really see as any bad point to make. And I am not even sure thats true .

nice!

Hey! the photos are very nice.
I love flowers and take a lot of photos in my garden, too. The third flower is a clematis.
What lens did you use? I have only the kit lens and an FA 50mm 1.4. Neither one are terrific for close-ups of my flowers; I need a good macro lens. Sorry to say, my Sony Cybershot P&S does better on macros; it gives much clearer and sharper photos.

They are nice.

One remark, i find the empty space on the right of #1 not so pleasing.

Perhaps crop to 3:4 format?
