Westie portrait

Shot straight into sun... was a good candidate for a BW conversion...
Any critiques or suggestions would be appreciated..

Doesn't he know he's not allowed on the bed? I'd like it better if his face wasn't obscured by the bed's footboard. Mrs. Workingdog thinks the cutest thing about a Westie is his black button nose. The lighting and the B&W work well and he is a great subject.

I have to agree with Workingdog. I'd like to see the full personality of the pooch by seeing its entire face. The monochromatic nature of the dog's coat and the strong backlight are very effective.

Nice shot, I too would have liked to see more of the dog's face and also more of the window. That would make a much more classic look.
