My First

*ist DL, Kit lens @ 55mm, F8.0 @ 1/750, spot focus, no flash. Only mods were to brighten slightly, resize, and convert to jpeg.
This is growing over my back fence from my neighbors yard, so I figured it was fair game! I think I should have reduced the DOF slightly to blurr the colors on the lower left, and do a bit of cropping on the right.
Your thoughts, please.

I think the subject needs some more light. Try off-camera flash, at different angles. You need light, to bring out the colours
