Ready for take off
ISO: 100   Aperture: F5.6   Shutter Speed: 1/60s   Camera: K20D   Focal Length: 30mm

I'm having doubts about this one, perhaps a little to dark?

Not too dark at all. Just the right mood. I am sure it looks even better in the full version! JIM

I don't think the processing and composition go together well in this shot.
Usually when people overprocess like this it is to bring out qualities in reflections on metal and glass. There just isn't enough of those reflections in this shot.
If you had changed the angle by about 20 degrees you could have included the length of the helicopter with a lot more metal and glass showing and nice long shiny reflections.

Well, it's an interesting shot. Overall it is a bit too blue. I like everything from the blades below. The sky is too blown above and the clouds too distracting. It might be fun airbrushing in a whole different upper sky

I would have to agree with you, Erasmo...a little too dark/blue. I'd be interested in seeing the original. Are you a navy man?

My goal was to get a nice symmetrical shot.
