I like it, maybe a tad more contrast could improve it still?

Guido, I like this picture a lot, I would not have suggested contrast or even thought of it if it had not been mentioned. Leave this photo as it is, the bird's character would be soft and gentle as is the colour and contrast in this image although the focus is spot on.
