Critique please

[Bactman]

This was taken in the evening on a ferry from Kadikoy to Besiktas, Istanbul. The light was fading and rays of light were filtering onto Hagia Sofia. I used Picasa, cropped a bit, and applied a sepia-like filter.

I would like to hear some critiques/thoughts, if possible. Thanks in advance!

Good capture, well spotted. I think the highlights could be some more pronounced and overall the colours could be some warmer.

I like light rays shining thru the clouds and its captured well here. you say you cropped the shot, Id consider re cropping to remove some of the foreground, what I assume is a river. also the posted pic is a bit on the small side to consider it
