I am assuming it is a slice of orange or lemon which means: if you have to ask, the shot hasn't quite worked.

It is a cool idea for a shot but I think possibly the small size of the container has led to too much water disturbance, making the object less identifiable. Alternatively it could be the thickness and straightness of the sides of the container causing the lack of clarity. If I were you, I would experiment with different containers because this one definitely needs deserves pursuing.

BTW, F/27 is way too high, resolution usually suffers after f/16. Try it with either f/8 or f/11 and f/16 if you have to.

Crisp and accurate.
The slice of citrus fruit in the bowl is indeed hard to work out what it is though the effect you got is remarkably well captured. Gary's right about your settings, you'll need a lot less light (and even make it a little softer) by opening aperture to f/8.

Thanks to all of you!

You guys are right. This was captured by accident and was trying to achieve a different shot, I just liked the outcome. I realized that the small container wouldn't work, so I later used a very tall glass instead.

Well done.
