Sweet Home
ISO: 200   Camera: K 200D

Hey Folks! I just moved into a new building in Chi and this is the view from my roof! I don't really work in B&W much...and this is the first time I think I've ever intentionally added vignetting . But I thought it really helped the shot.

What do you think?

It's too small to tell, post bigger versions if you want critique (and not a link please).

Nice lighting, the tones from the dark foreground to the grey cityscape to the sky look great together. There is too much sky though, try cropping out about half the sky, make the picture follow the rule of thirds and I think it'll be a nice panorama worth printing out.
It might also be worth seeing what it looks like if you crop at the sides to make the tall buildings closer to the edge of the frame.

The form of the skyline makes the image. The low contrast adds mood and it technically sound (apart from the issues addressed by Gary. This is a perfect for a pano.

There isn't much to it, but what there is, is nice.

not much to criticize here. Except:
I'd probably crop it from the top a bit and get rid of the dust specs.
Otherwise it's really nice shot. IMO

Thanks all! I'll work on the crop and repost a bit later.

I like the dark mood it sets. What are the wavy lines in the right side of the sky?
