Landscape A day at the park

Here is a shot that I took at my local park this morning. The fog had just about burned off at this point, but can still see some residual fog in the background. This version of the photo has been altered somewhat with PhotoShop and Picasa. I am fairly new to this and I am trying to improve my composition and technique. Looking for any and all comments.

Very nice composition and tone. Get rid of the no swimming sign and I think you have a keeper here.

I also like the feel of this image.
Dreamy and serene. The fog adds a mystical element to the landscape.
As above, swimming sign makes the viewer focus in on that rather than the overall picture.

Your edit looks good to me! Though resaving has introduced a lot of compression artefacts. I also love the fog and in general the way the scene looks. My only comment would be to try bracketed exposures to cool down the sky a bit, and possibly brighten up the foreground.
