For Sale: Nokton Classic 40mm/1.4 SC + Hood-Like New Boxed!!
Listed: 10-19-2009, 11:03 PM [Contact Seller]

Well, this one is an impulse buy on my part. This is in a like new condition, with no flaw on the body, glass or anything for that matter. I have the original box for the lens and the hood. Even all the paperwork is still there.

This is the SC version. The new price is $460+shipping (/w hood).

I'll ask for $400 shipped and paypalled.

Pardon my asking - is this lens converted to Pentax K-mount?

It's a Leica M-mount lens, which (unfortunately) can't be adapted for Pentax because the distance between the mount and the film/sensor plane is so much smaller on Leica than on Pentax.

This lens can be used on any Leica M-mount camera, or can be used with an adapter on micro four-thirds bodies like the Panasonic G1/GH1/GF1 or the Olympus E-P1.

It's a beautiful, tiny lens, with really nice focusing action. I've tried one on an E-P1 and it's really sharp and fun to use! The single coated version apparently gives more shadow detail, so should be better for black and white film/conversion.

By the way, aegisphan, are you using your adapted A 50 1.2 for these pics?

This lens is tiny so I need more reach than the 50. So I used my Sony CZ 135. The 50 is for bigger product.

EBL is kind of short on the R3A. Ensure you can focus good using a fast wide with the R3A's base line.
