This is a 77mm 25% GND I bought from Adorama (I think) in the same condition it's in now, for the same price I'm asking now... I carried it around (in it's case in my backpack) all summer, and never once shot through it. If the dynamic range of the scene is too high, I don't think, "get out the filter", I just bracket the shot and HDR it in post.

There are a few very small marks (like dust flecks) on the front element coating of this filter, but I don't think they would affect IQ whatsoever - they were there when I got the filter from Adorama...
