Improving old photos

Hi,

I've got some scans of old photos that I'd like to improve, One of them is an old photo of my mothers old house. Most of the color is gone (guess discolored by sunlight ?) so I would like to improve the color a bit.

I was able to get the color balance a bit better with a curves adjustment layer but the greens are (there is some grass and trees in the picture) not what I want.

so are there some "tricks" that can be done to improve the color ?

and/or is there a photoshop plug-in that can do this (or make it easier) so a bunch of photos can be processed faster then needing to do it all manually ?
