LR Experts Please Help

I just bought a new internal hard drive that I want to copy all my pictures to. I will use this drive as my main source, I also have an external drive that I backup to. So I need to completely move all my pictures from my OS drive to this new drive. The problem with just copying them over is when I re-import them into LR I won't have the edits that I have already done on the pictures. How can I move all the files and get LR to update the edits to the new locations? I hope that makes sense, plesae help me out if you know how.

Nevermind, I figured it out. I can just copy the folders, then in LR the stuff I have imported goes red, and you can right click and it says to locate the missing folder, then you can browse to the new location of the folder.
