Help

I'm trying to find a post-processing software for PC that will not cost an arm and a leg. The plain fact is that right now, I don't need $600 Photoshop CS3 or anything like that. I just need something that will allow me to do simple work and maintain my exif data. The program I'm currently using wipes the exif data even if I just rotate the picture and of course I have one I want to submit to the Pentax Photo Gallery. However the camera was held portrait so the pic is landscape and needs to be rotated. It was done in JPEG instead of RAW so the Pentax Lab is no help.

I'll also add:

XnView - free
Faststone Image Viewer- free

It comes down to personal preference. I use XnView as the browsing front-end/image manipulator & I've hot-keyed The GIMP as the external editor to use from within XnView. All 3 (XnView, Infanview, Faststone) are good programs and well featured.

Have a look at PhotoImpact from Corel.
Search PhotoImpact and it will be there for you. Its not free but is very cheap for its capability.
I find it extremely useful.
