panorama picture

i tried using autostitch, but it messes up the quality of the picture. is there a free program that automates panorama's, and keep the picture quality?

I agree. Have had good luck with both scanned photos and digital and Hugin.

What do you mean it messes up the quality? Did you set the JPEG quality to 100?

How I usually use autostitch:
1. Open program.
2. Open preferences pane and set jpg quality to 100 and image size to 100%.
3. Load files and let it stitch.
4. Rename pano.jpg, open and enjoy.
