Lightroom accept Pentax - TRUE?

Is it true that Lightroom versions 1.4.1 and 2.0 now have Pentax as default develop settings?

Please see this:
Adobe - Adobe Photoshop CS3: Digital camera raw file support

I hope this is true.

yes lightroom 2 supports all current Pentax DSLR raw files, if thats what your asking. you should also be able to get that support by installing Adobe Camera Raw 4.5 into photoshop CS3.

Actually I don't know what you mean by default develop setting.

My experience is that for PEF file, no difference is spotted; for DNG file, I found there's an extra "Embedded" option besides "ACR 4.4" in Camera Calibration. It will give you more red, but still way from the color in PLL.

If you mean the develop preset, right now they only support Canon and Nikon.

Yes, I mean develop presets. Can we see the raw file in Lightroom exactly as the camera taken it ?

The way I understand it no 3rd party will display your raw files the same way the camera showed it because it doesn't respect your camera settings. All raw converters interpret raw data differently so they will not look the same. The new profiles from Adobe will look better than the flat versions that are the default, but it is still Adobe's interpretation of the file, not Pentax's.
