Sending large amounts of photos (big files)

I'm traveling a lot.
A common problem (besides getting enough bandwith to send large files), is that e-mail isn't going to handle the large amount of data I want to send.
There are on-line services around, I understand, that can solve this issue for you.

So, my question here is; is there anybody with experience with one of the following services?

yousendit, sendthisfile or dropsend??

I'm interested in your findings.

Step 1: Create a joint GMail account.
Step 2: viksoe.dk - GMail Drive shell extension Download the GMail Drive shell extension
Step 3: Install shell extension
Step 4: Open up Windows Explorer, and log into your joint GMail account
Step 5: Drag-n-drop all your files in the Explorer window (you can also create folders etc, files must be 20 MB or less)
Step 6: wait for it to finish, and instruct the receiving party to go through Steps 2-4. Receiving party will see the files exactly as you have uploaded them - like they were on a flash drive or DVD. They never get deleted unless you delete them yourself. Don't forget to tell receiving party the email name and address.
Step 7: If you ever reach your ~7 GB quota, just create joint Gmail account_2.

Files can be accessed via the GDrive extension OR the regular Gmail interface (though then you'd have to download the files one at a time).

Sneaky little trick, wouldn't you say?

you can use yousendit.com for free if under 100mb per file.

if you are using photos, you can create a zip file with all of them in there and do it that way.

Thanks.
I'll try that, however it requires specific arrangements with the receiving partners upfront.

I have the free yousendit account now with their free dropbox that has been good so for bigger files i'd say the "paid" services would be even better.

You can also have a look at this newer service

MailBigFile.com | Send Large Files - Quick & Easy - Free Service - Web Transfer - Pro & Business Accounts

btw dropsend was giving away a few 50gb? accounts for signing up.

Microsoft's Live.com has a feature called Skydrive with a free 2 gigabytes of storage. Give the recipient your Live password, and it's a non issue.
