The newbiest of questions.

I am brand new to digital and have no computer skills beyond surfing and email. If I want to bring some photos that I've processed on my computer to a lab (uh, RiteAid) how do I do that? What is the most common way/device for downloading edited photos to bring to a third party printer?

usb stick, and they carry on from there.
They can print directly from your SD/SDHC, but is better if you edit your images before printing, so you don't get disappointed with results.

Remember to set the size you want for your prints and do your own cropping.

Right, tell a newbie that. You offering up a course as well?
Honestly, just take your memory card with the pictures on it to the lab and let them deal with it.
